DIY Beauty Get Natural! Series: Make your own hairmask for massive hairgrowth + your own shampoo & wonder oil for the face

get natural series

Hi dear readers,

Five days ago I wrote a post about DIY Beauty, the first one of the ultimate Get Natural! series I’m introducing on my blog. This is totally new on my blog so I hope you will enjoy reading it ‘cause I will be posting about this topic quite a lot the next few weeks. These series will be in English. If you’re interested in having a Dutch translation, don’t hesitate to do a request in the comment box below.

Getting natural has many advantages:

  1. No chemicals included, so no harm can be done
  2. Results are always positive
  3. You can make your own products perfectly suitable for your hair/skin type
  4. You make something fully yourself, you can be creative and even make your own labels for your own shampoo and stuff. How awesome is that?
  5. It’s cheaper and you can do a long time with the products you buy

Have I convinced you yet? So today I will be sharing my own recipe for an intensive hairmask that will make your hair grow faster and healthier, a shampoo and a secret oil that will make your skin feel amazing.

My hair type: dry because of the hair dyes I use, split ends, thick and with lots of volume
My skin type: suffer from acne, greasy skin

° Coconut oil: prevents protein loss in hair, moisturizing, nourishing, in combination with honey and yoghurt coconut oil can even be more beneficial, anti hairloss, dandruff prevention
° Honey: lightening the hair, boosts hairgrowth, reduces breakage, antibacterial ingredients, cleans thoroughly
° Yogurt: dandruff treatment, prevents hairloss, improves hairgrowth
° Lemon: lightening the hair, vitamin C makes the hair strong, adds life to frizzy hair, cleans the scalp

Recipe SHAMPOO (I used an old bottle of Yves Rocher Micellair Water):

° Apple Cider Vinegar: contains antibacterial and antifungal elements, cleansing, reduces frizz, adds shine, detangles, prevents hairloss and stimulates hairgrowth effectively, prevents split ends and breakage

° Water

° Rose Oil: for a nice scent, apple cider vinegar doesn’t have the greatest smell so make sure to wash your hair with a scented conditioner afterwards 🙂

Magic oil for the skin = Castor oil –> right now you can do a great deal at Holland & Barrett, where you have the second product for free!

Benefits of Castor oil:

  1. Reduces acne
  2. Moisturizing
  3. Anti aging
  4. Fades imperfections
  5. Anti eye bags
  6. Fights dry lips (I also put the oil in my lips)
  7. Prevents wrinkles, makes the skin tight
